What is the schedule for the day?

The festival runs from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm. To see the full schedule click here.

The MOST begins the day with Sensory Friendly Hours, which go until 11:00 am. During this time, sounds are turned down, air compressors are turned off, and lighting is adjusted to support visitors with sensory-processing needs.

Our first storytellers will also be sharing stories in American Sign Language, with a voice interpreter. This is a wonderful time for families who may prefer a calmer festival experience.

There will be multiple storytellers throughout the day, beginning at 10:00 am, along with kids’ activities and tables from various organizations for families to visit.

Can we come and go throughout the day?

Absolutely. You are welcome to stay for part of the day, enjoy the full festival, or come and go as needed.

Is the rest of the museum open and included?

What lunch or snack options are available?

We will have mac and cheese, snacks, and beverages available for purchase. There are also several restaurants within walking distance of the MOST.

Do children need to be accompanied by an adult?
